A.S. Watson Group HK Student Sports Awards 2013-2014
Award recipient of HCY: 1A Lai Hong Ching
She will receive a certificate and a scholarship of HK$500. Awards Presentation Ceremony will be held on 11 May 2014 at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Award recipient must attend a Leadership Training Workshop and are entitled to apply for the ‘Nanjing Sports Exchange Tour’. Successful applicants have the opportunity to watch the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, visit the training venues so as to have a better understanding of the history and cultural of Nanjing.
The "A.S. Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Awards" (SSA) has been organised since 2005. Over 7,400 students have already been honoured so far. It aims to provide recognition and encouragement annually through schools’ nominations. Each school is encouraged to nominate ONE student exhibiting outstanding performance or great potentials. He or she must also demonstrate passion and good conduct in sport. By doing so, we hope to build up a more vibrant culture among schools in Hong Kong and help raise healthier citizens.
